Common Decency

Jeez. What ever happened to common decency among men.

So I'm driving my wife to work this morning, as I do every morning, and we stop at the atm so that she can deposit a couple of checks. While she walks across the sidewalk to the atm 15 feet away, I wait for her in the car with the engine running and my hazard lights on.

In the 3 minutes I'm waiting for her to finish at the atm, some jerk from the Department of Parking and Traffic sneaks up behind my car and writes me a $253 ticket for stopping in a bus zone.

Now I can't complain about the validity of the ticket...I was in fact stopped in a bus zone. But c'mon! It would have been much easier for him and much less expensive for me to just come up, tap on my window, and ask me to move. Instead, this asshole writes me a ticket.

And the most aggravating thing of it is that the guy walks across the street, looks back over his shoulder, and has a good laugh about it with the security guard standing there.
